What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric cardiac patients, including patients on chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, and vasoactive infusions
• Assess, diagnose, and plan patient care based on clinical protocols
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document findings accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to implement care plans
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment and post-discharge care
• Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients
• Ensure compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
• Pediatric cardiac experience including chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, vasoactive infusions
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in critical care (new graduates with relevant experience considered)
• Ability to work the night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

• Experience in a high-acuity pediatric critical care setting
