The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in developing brand assets, supporting lightweight web design initiatives, and executing email marketing campaigns that elevate brand visibility, strengthen audience engagement, and support business growth. What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities Marketing Planning & Execution Work collaboratively with marketing leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear plans, deliverables, dependencies, timelines, and next steps. Own execution of assigned marketing work within aligned priorities and objectives, maintaining visibility into planned work and providing regular status updates through established internal routines and channels. Coordinate appropriate reviews and approvals before publishing, distributing, or finalizing marketing materials and communications. Support measurement and continuous improvement of marketing activities using available data and feedback. Document and maintain repeatable marketing processes, workflows, and SOPs. Brand Development & Creative Execution Contribute to the development and maintenance of brand standards and guidelines to support consistent application across channels and materials. Design and develop marketing collateral, branded assets, visual content, and reusable templates across digital and print channels. Source and manage promotional products and logo wear, coordinating with internal stakeholders and with external vendors as needed. Ensure creative outputs align with established brand standards, approved messaging, audience needs, leadership direction, and initiative objectives. Content Development & Messaging Maintain a content plan and publishing schedule aligned with broader marketing priorities and initiatives. Develop and edit clear, compelling marketing content and copy across webpages, social media, email, sales collateral, presentations, events, speaking engagements, and other company communications. Work with subject matter experts and leadership to translate complex, technical, or industry-specific information into accessible, audience-appropriate messaging. Review and refine content for clarity, accuracy, tone, effectiveness, and consistency across channels. Website & Digital Presence Manage website content and updates, including lightweight web design, CMS management, and improvements to messaging, navigation, user experience, and conversion opportunities. Apply on-page SEO, readability, accessibility, and basic user experience best practices. Plan, develop, and publish company social media content, with a primary focus on LinkedIn. Email Marketing Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and communications. Design and develop email layouts, templates, campaign messaging, and calls to action based on defined objectives for each campaign. Manage email lists and audience segmentation to support accurate and targeted communications. Event Planning & External Engagement Plan and coordinate company-hosted events, including venue/vendor evaluation and management, contracting, logistics, and end-to-end execution. Manage marketing and communications for meetings, events, webinars, conferences, sponsorships, and other industry activities. Support and coordinate external visibility opportunities for the company and its leaders, including employer and industry recognition and speaking engagements. What You Already Have 2+ years of professional marketing experience, ideally in a broad marketing role with responsibility across multiple channels. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience, preferred. Experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or adjacent industry preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated content development, copywriting, and editing skills across multiple marketing channels and audiences. Experience creating branded marketing assets and managing digital content using visual and web design tools; Canva and Wix experience preferred. Experience executing digital marketing campaigns across website, email, and LinkedIn. Experience using CRM and email marketing tools to manage contact, lead, and customer data, audience segmentation, and lists; Zoho CRM experience preferred. Experience planning and coordinating events and event-related marketing activities. Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining visibility into work and status. Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders while independently owning agreed-upon execution. Ability to learn unfamiliar subject matter, tools, and processes quickly and ask the questions needed to develop accurate, effective work. Google Workspace and monday.com experience is a plus. Ability to work in a home-based, virtual environment free of distraction. Located in or near the Indianapolis metro area preferred; Midwest location considered. Required for Application Portfolio or work samples demonstrating both visual marketing work and written marketing content. SALARY RANGE

$61,000-$65,000 DOE
