Located in Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $80-$100k/yr Engineering Manager Location: Woodlawn, OH Shift: 1st Pay: $80-$100k/yr Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of AS and ISO standards; experience with NADCAP processes preferred.
- Experience with welding, alloys, brazing, and heat treatment processes is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologies such as FMEA, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Lead and manage the Engineering Team through all phases of product development and production to achieve operational and customer goals.
- Evaluate workloads, assign engineering resources, and ensure projects meet customer production schedules and quality expectations.
- Develop and implement engineering department objectives that align with overall business unit strategies and performance goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve product quality, manufacturing processes, and operational efficiency while evaluating cost savings and process optimization initiatives.
- Review product designs and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with engineering standards, customer requirements, and applicable specifications.
- Support quoting and new business activities by collaborating with the Business Development Team and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Manage employee performance, training, development, and staffing activities to build a high-performing engineering team.
