Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Women & Children's Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11.5-hour shifts, 19:00-07:00, 12-hour PM-AM Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of [Specify minimum years of experience needed] License: Valid RN license Certifications: - NRPC- EFM (Fetal monitoring certification) - ACLS (preferred) - BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in Labor and Delivery - Level I nursery care - Labor and antepartum triage experience - RN circulator for cesarean sections - RN PACU for cesarean sections - GYN post-op care expertise - Comfortable with low acuity pediatric patients - Lactation knowledge - Experience with OBix for fetal monitoring and labor documentation - Familiarity with Athena for outpatient records - Ability to use Meditech for inpatient documentation Job Description: - Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery for immediate placement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in labor and delivery, post-op care, and pediatric patient management. This opportunity is based in a women's and children's unit with a focus on labor and delivery services, level I nursery care, and antepartum triage. The role will involve handling cesarean sections as a circulator and PACU nurse, as well as providing GYN post-op care and lactation support. The unit has a limited peds population, mainly catering to low acuity pediatric patients.
