Job Opportunity – Director of Nursing (DON) / RN Unit Supervisor – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 22, 2026

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 80 hours per 2 weeks, Variable Day Shift Hours with 24/7 accountability

Highlights:

• Leadership role overseeing nursing operations for a Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care Facility located within a hospital and trauma center
• Responsible for coordinating nursing care activities across the continuum to improve patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Oversee quality improvement programs including falls prevention, skin care, psychotropic medication monitoring, and chart compliance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, develop care plans, and implement restorative care programs
• Lead hiring, training, evaluation, and supervision of nursing staff while maintaining budget and census guidelines
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulatory requirements and Joint Commission standards

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required upon hire
• Current RN license in Wisconsin
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in long term care nursing or demonstrated leadership/management experience in a long term care facility
• Working knowledge of reimbursement systems, State and Federal regulations within Long Term Care, and Joint Commission standards
• CPR certification required within 90 days (additional certifications per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)
