Reserved exclusively for members and their guests, the Guest House and Cottages offer an intimate lodging experience for wedding parties, golf groups, and visiting members.The Weyhill Guest House and Cottages are designed to feel like a private residence within the club, offering quiet luxury, attentive service, and a peaceful retreat within our 850-acre property.PurposeThe Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort throughout the Guest House and cottages.This role plays a critical part in shaping the guest experience by ensuring every space feels immaculate, welcoming, and intentionally prepared. During slower periods, attendants focus on detail work, organization, and property enhancements that elevate the overall environment.Job Tasks/DutiesClean and reset assigned guest rooms to established standardsReplace linens, towels, and bathroom amenitiesEnsure each room is fully stocked, refreshed, and guest-readyInspect rooms for maintenance concerns and report as neededMaintain consistency in layout and presentation across all roomsCheck functionality of fixtures, lighting, and suppliesClean and maintain all public areas including hallways, lounges, and bathroomsDust, vacuum, and mop floors regularlyEnsure common spaces remain organized, comfortable, and invitingMaintain organized and well-stocked linen closetsEnsure appropriate inventory levels of linens, towels, and suppliesKeep back-of-house areas clean and orderlyGreet members and guests warmly when encounteredMaintain a professional and discreet presence at all timesDuring quieter periods, attendants focus on maintaining and elevating the overall property:Deep clean assigned areas on a rotating schedulePolish fixtures, mirrors, and woodworkOrganize storage areas, closets, and supply roomsRefresh and tidy décor elementsAssist with seasonal updates or special projectsFollow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocolsReport maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptlyTurn in all lost and found itemsAdhere to all company policies and proceduresMaintain a safe and organized work environmentComplete special projects assigned by managementContribute ideas to improve cleanliness, organization, and guest experienceRequirementsStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workHospitality mindset with a warm and professional demeanorAbility to work efficiently and independentlyStrong organizational skillsClear communication and teamworkLodging, hotel, or country club experience preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferredPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsLift up to 50 poundsClimb stairsFrequent bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing stairsAbility to work in varying environmental conditionsSaucon Valley Country Club believes in diversity and inclusion and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
