Sales Consultant - Fine Art Women's Portraiture Studio

Why This Role Is Available At the end of this year we move into our own building in Farringdon, which we have bought. With it we start offering out-of-hours sessions, so women from all walks of life can come to us. That takes us from roughly 120 women a month to 180. This growth is why we are doubling our team. This role exists to grow the sales department so that more women are inspired to take the step. Your Mission As our Sales Consultant, you are the front door to Body & Soul. You are the first person a woman speaks to, and you represent the brand and our ethos. Body & Soul is application-only. Nobody can book an experience online. Every woman has a discovery call with you first, and she comes to the studio only if you invite her. This is a remote, phone-based role. She has seen our work and got in touch, so every lead is warm and inbound, and there is no cold calling. You invite her to the studio and help her past fear and doubt. You also make sure we invite the right women. We do not sell to vulnerable women. You qualify that she is emotionally, financially and mentally in the right place, and that she values the art and shares our values. You are judged on the women you turn away as well as the women you book. Our sales are ethical and built on empathy, and that standard holds through every part of the process. When you qualify a woman and welcome her into our community, you fill the studio, and that creates the work for everyone else in the company. The Team You're Joining You join a sales team of two Art Curators and two Sales Consultants, led by our CEO, who is also acting Sales Director. There is a sales huddle every morning. Clear data, dashboards and KPIs show you where you stand, and you get a 30, 60 and 90 day ramp plan from day one. Our sales process has been built over six years and it is thorough. The expectations are extraordinarily high. What The Role Entails Run 20 to 25 minute phone consultations with women who have enquired Follow our sales process and scripts Take payment on the call and get her session in the diary Follow up no-shows, "thinking about it" and past enquiries when your calendar is light Keep your pipeline and CRM notes clean so the next person can pick up without asking How You're Measured We are a target-based company. We work from metrics, data and KPIs, and your income reflects the impact you make. You own your numbers and bring them to Huddle every morning. Once you are ramped, the minimum is 15 paid bookings a week. The standard is 20. Our best performers reach 25. Qualifying is a big part of this role: who you invite and who you turn away. Our close rate is around 40%, because we turn away most of the other 60%. This Role Is For You If You are a top performer where you are now, or you know you should be You are happy being on the phone all day You like being measured and want to see your numbers every morning You take coaching and use it on the next call You can talk with women about confidence, body image, fine art nudity and money in the same conversation You want a career in sales with somewhere to go Requirements Sales experience over the phone or video, selling to individuals You have worked on commission before Your experience is in a service or premium business: a studio, clinic, salon, gallery, members' club, events, travel or premium retail. Selling art, or selling for another studio, is ideal Experience selling phones, software, courses or information products on its own is unlikely to be enough Ideally you have worked remotely before You live within two hours of central London, ideally within 90 minutes You have the right to work in the UK You can work five days a week, with weekends as part of your normal schedule You are comfortable that our studio specialises in fine art nudity, and that you will talk with women about it Your Home Office This is a remote role and guests hear everything behind you, so your set-up matters. A private room with a door, where nobody else comes in while you work. We strongly favour a dedicated office over a bedroom. Fast, reliable internet: at least 100 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload. Your own laptop and monitor for your first 60 days. The company supplies equipment after 60 to 90 days. Where It Leads There is a lot of support and a lot of growth in this seat: daily sales training, one-to-one coaching and a clear scorecard. As you prove yourself you can be cross-trained to sell our artwork and collections on onboarding calls, and progress to an Art Curator role. We promote from within. Pay This is a base salary plus uncapped commission role. On-target earnings are £50,000 to £70,000. How To Apply Complete the short application form.
