What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient-centered care using the nursing process within the scope of practice and standards.
• Assess patient needs, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise licensed and ancillary staff.
• Advocate for patient safety, privacy, and comfort.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards.
• Document care accurately and thoroughly using hospital electronic systems.
• Respond to emergencies, administer medications, and perform interventions as required.

What You Need

• Required:
  
  
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 2 years recent medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic documentation
• Preferred:
  
  
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing
  • Certification in a clinical specialty area
