Project ManagerOur client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects throughout the Northeast. With a continued focus on ground-up affordable housing developments, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Stamford, Connecticut.This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of ground-up multifamily affordable housing projects, from preconstruction through project closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of ground-up affordable housing construction projects from preconstruction through completion.Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and procurement.Work closely with developers, architects, engineers, and municipal agencies to ensure successful project delivery.Lead project planning, including scheduling, cost management, and scope control.Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Coordinate with field teams and Superintendents to ensure efficient execution of the work.Conduct regular project meetings and maintain communication with all stakeholders.Monitor project progress and implement strategies to mitigate risk and maintain timelines.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Prepare project reports, forecasts, and updates for senior leadership and clients.Project Managers play a central role in coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring construction projects are completed successfully while meeting cost, time, and quality goals.Qualifications8+ years of experience managing construction projects for a General Contractor.Strong experience with ground-up multifamily or affordable housing developments.Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and project controls.Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong communication across teams.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Primavera, or similar platforms is a plus.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)Full Medical Benefits PackageCompetitive compensation and long-term growth opportunityOpportunity to work on impactful affordable housing developments within a respected and growing construction firm.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES NorthPoint Staffing, LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
