Chesapeake Specialty Care is growing, and we're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll be an important part of the patient experiencefrom the moment a patient walks through our doors to the time they check out. Regular travel between our Owings Mills, Rosedale, Columbia, and Westminster offices is required. Your Schedule MondayFriday no weekends! 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM 30-minute unpaid lunch What You'll Do Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience Schedule appointments across our practice locations Collect copays and outstanding patient balances Assist patients with general insurance and billing questions Review paperwork, referrals, and medical records for accuracy and completeness Prepare patient charts and help keep front desk areas organized Rotate between office locations based on practice needs Work alongside a supportive team to keep daily operations running smoothly What Will Help You Succeed At least 1 year of medical front desk or medical office experience is required Strong communication and customer service skills A positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced medical office Comfort with typing, scanning, filing, and general office tasks A professional and compassionate approach to patient care Ability and willingness to regularly travel between all four office locations Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical office training or education is a plus. Physical Requirements This position requires prolonged sitting and computer use, as well as the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
