Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care

Day shift, 5 days per week from 08:30 to 17:00.

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Relevant certifications in the field.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and therapy goals.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
