Job Description
The CNA Certified role is centered in a small assisted living facility specializing in elderly care and patients with long-term chronic conditions. Reporting directly to the administrator, this position involves providing hands-on support in patient care within a close-knit, 8-bed environment where comprehensive assistance including hygiene, mobility, and medication support is essential. Additional responsibilities encompass facility upkeep such as cooking and cleaning, ensuring a safe and comfortable living space for residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care with attention to elderly and chronic condition needs
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the administrator
- Assist with personal hygiene and mobility to promote independence
- Support medication management according to care plans
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in a small assisted living setting
- Participate in cooking and cleaning duties for the facility's upkeep
- Communicate effectively within the care team and with residents
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare support roles
Preferred Qualifications
- CBRF Certification
- Demonstrated skills in patient care and vital signs monitoring
- Strong teamwork and time management abilities
