About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable data to onsite researchers, providing direct laboratory support for routine and non-routine operations, and performing quality assurance tests on company products.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, maintain, and calibrate special equipment following manufacturer's instructions with limited supervision.
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of. Perform routine calibration and maintenance on lab equipment following our safety standards.
- Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
- Assist the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required.
- Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
- Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
- Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain the required safety training.
Requirements
- 2-year Associate Degree & 3 years of experience as HTHP in Cementing Laboratories.
- Experience with Equipment Maintenance and Calibration.
- Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, data entry, and report tracking.
