This role will lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical models and ML solutions to optimize pricing strategies and ensure robust, scalable, and efficient deployment of these models within our operational frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve predictive and machine-learning modelsLead advanced analytics initiatives across customer, product, pricing, and commercial domainsMonitor production models for accuracy, reliability, and data qualityTroubleshoot model and data issues across analytical workflowsEstablish model validation, testing, monitoring, and governance standardsTranslate analytical findings into clear business recommendationsPartner with engineering teams to operationalize models and analytical solutionsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to other data scientistsSupport development of optimization, forecasting, recommendation, and AI-driven decisioning capabilitiesRequired Skills7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a related quantitative fieldStrong Python and SQL skillsStrong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, regression, clustering, and predictive analyticsExperience deploying and supporting models in production environmentsExperience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-based analytical platformsStrong understanding of data pipelines, model inputs/outputs, and data-quality validationExperience with model monitoring, lifecycle management, and explainabilityStrong problem-solving and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to lead technical work and collaborate across business and technology teamsEducationMaster’s degree preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or another quantitative disciplineBachelor’s degree required in a quantitative or technical field with substantial relevant experiencePhD in a quantitative discipline is a plus, but not requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience in pricing, revenue management, forecasting, optimization, or commercial analyticsExperience with recommendation systems, segmentation, or predictive modelingExperience with MLOps and production model deploymentFamiliarity with Generative AI and modern AI-assisted analytical solutionsExperience supporting business-critical analytical applicationsPrior experience mentoring or leading other data scientistsExperience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.About MMSMcKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.
