Location: North Aurora, IL
Schedule: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Saturdays as needed; overtime is mandatory)
Pay Rate: $18.00
About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our Midway Staffing team in North Aurora, IL. This position involves assisting with daily production tasks, using basic hand tools, and performing general warehouse or assembly duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced with measuring and hand tools.
Key Responsibilities
Use hand tools and measuring tape accurately to complete assigned work.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work overtime and weekends as required to meet production goals.
- Perform general labor tasks including material handling, assembly, and production support.
- Assist machine operators and production leads as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years in a warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor environment.
Skills:
Experience using hand tools and measuring tape (required).
Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work mandatory overtime.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Important Notes
This position requires the use of hand tools and measurement equipment daily. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with mandatory overtime when needed.
