Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a lasting impact by helping students reach their full potential as a School Psychologist through a contract opportunity just outside of Baton Rouge, LA. This part-time role focuses on providing specialized support for PreK through 8th-grade students during a summer session, and offers the flexibility of working Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Your expertise will be dedicated to one school site, allowing you to focus on meaningful relationships and targeted intervention. Licensed School Psychologists are needed for the upcoming contract period, with work scheduled from June 1 to July 16.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Louisiana Department of Education licensure for School Psychologists
  • Experience with assessments, counseling, and interventions for PreK-8th grade students
  • Comfort with or openness to providing virtual (VOCO) services as needed
  • Ability to complete time-sensitive district credentialing, background check, and fingerprinting requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially in school-based environments

Role Responsibilities:

  • Direct service for a diverse caseload at one elementary campus
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and deliver evidence-based counseling
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop intervention plans
  • Support individualized educational goals and help facilitate student growth
  • Maintain thorough records and compliance with district processes
