Responsibilities of Security Shift Supervisor Ensure all officers are relieved for their breaks and meal breaks timely during their shift. Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity. React quickly to threats or incidents. Oversee inspections, training, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations across assigned accounts. Collaborate with MSS, CSMs, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors to develop and manage staffing schedules and fill open shifts. Lead recruiting new supervisors and promote Special Response Officers (SROs) for career advancement. Occasionally fill account posts for specific shifts and deliver patrol services to designated accounts. Model the company’s core values, fostering a culture of servant leadership and employee engagement. Achieve key goals such as 100% shift coverage and regular personnel inspections and training. Become proficient in all company software systems related to onboarding, scheduling, and financial operations. Ensure 100% compliance with GardaWorld’s mandatory requirements and operational standards. Qualifications of Security Shift Supervisor At least 2 years of security supervision experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license. Authorized to work in the U.S. Documentation of high school diploma or GED. State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring). First‑aid certification is an asset. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Previous security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is preferred.
