CDL A OTR Team Driver

Job Description

We are seeking team CDL truck drivers to operate on a dedicated long-haul route from Dallas, TX to Commerce, CA. Drivers will transport general freight in 53’ dry vans, partnering with Fast Forward Group to haul for companies such as Amazon, UPS, and On Trac. This fixed schedule route offers predictable daily trips with a competitive starting rate of $0.70 per mile for the truck. Drivers will work in pairs, sharing full responsibility for vehicle maintenance and ensuring safe, timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

Drive long-haul routes covering over 700 miles daily
Operate 53’ dry van trailers transporting general freight
Partner with a co-driver for team driving duties
Maintain vehicle and perform thorough inspections
Follow assigned fixed route and schedule consistently
Comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines
Manage logbooks and delivery documentation accurately
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of commercial truck driving experience
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Strong skills in vehicle inspection and maintenance oversight
Proven ability in route navigation and logbook management
Excellent time management and compliance with safety regulations
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
