• Plan, organize, and coordinate a variety of recreational, social, educational, and wellness activities.
• Develop monthly and seasonal activity calendars that reflect participant interests and needs.
• Lead or supervise group activities, special events, outings, and entertainment programs.
• Encourage participation and create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all individuals.
• Collaborate with team members, families, vendors, and community partners to support programming.
• Maintain accurate records related to attendance, supplies, schedules, and program outcomes.
• Manage activity supplies and equipment, including ordering and organization as needed.
• Adapt activities to accommodate a range of abilities, preferences, and accessibility needs.
• Promote a positive, respectful atmosphere that supports engagement and well-being.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to event planning and department operations.

• Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, event planning, community programming, or a related role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging, age-appropriate, and inclusive programs.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Ability to lift, move, or set up activity materials and supplies as needed.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays for special events.

• Experience working in a senior living, healthcare, educational, hospitality, or community-based environment.
• Knowledge of recreation therapy, engagement strategies, or person-centered programming.
• Certification or training related to activities, recreation, or event coordination.
