Job Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to evaluate, plan, and provide treatment upon referral from a physician. The successful candidate will treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries, utilizing various therapeutic methods to relieve pain and enhance physical function. Treatment may include the use of exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, or sound. Collaboration with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals is essential.

Education

Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Licensure requirements as a Physical Therapist as mandated by the Oregon State Board of Health.
Current valid Oregon driver's license.
Current CPR certification.

Experience

Experience is desired but not mandatory if the necessary qualifications are met.

Job Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess:

Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, including current orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures and rehabilitation practices.
A positive attitude and proficient communication skills.
Effective teamwork skills, including the ability to interact, support, and show respect for colleagues.

Skills

We seek individuals who demonstrate the ability to learn and apply basic computer skills, including:

Locating and opening documents.
Completing forms.
Opening and sending email messages.
