About the Position

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Insurance Service Representative to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working in a professional but welcoming office environment.

The Insurance Service Representative will serve as an important point of contact for our clients and will assist with day-to-day customer service, policy servicing, office administration, and general insurance-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in person, over the phone, and by email
• Answer incoming calls and direct clients to the appropriate team member
• Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients
• Process payments and assist with billing questions
• Handle routine policy changes, including vehicle changes, address updates, and other service requests
• Prepare insurance certificates and policy documents
• Process binder requests and assist with new business paperwork
• Maintain accurate client records and update information in our agency management system
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and office deliveries
• Maintain organized client files and assist with filing
• Assist with new client intake and gathering information needed for quotes
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding routine policy service needs
• Follow up on outstanding requests and documentation
• Assist agents with administrative and customer service tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and handle client information professionally
• Perform other general office and customer service duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, administrative, or insurance experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Insurance experience or an insurance license is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
