We have an immediate need for a results-oriented Retail Store Manager for a Retail and Warehouse facility (Fireworks Company) in the Flint area. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who supports our mission, values, and embraces our company culture. This role will be responsible for overseeing all areas of the store, ensuring superb customer service, and leading a team in compliance with safety regulations for firework sales. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Retail Management:

• Lead the charge in overseeing all retail operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory control.
• Ensure the store's inventory is stocked, visually appealing, and an overall exceptional shopping experience.
• Recruit, train, and lead the retail team.
• Lead sales performance and implement strategies to surpass sales goals.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop and enforce operational policies to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee all warehouse functions, from inventory management to receiving and stocking shipments.
• Ensure the warehouse is secure, organized, and adheres to all safety and compliance regulations.
• Manage smooth inventory transfers between the warehouse and retail floor, keeping stock levels accurate.
• Lead the warehouse team in order processing, shipping, receiving, and conducting regular inventory audits.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to keep product flow seamless and efficient.
• Maintain strict safety protocols for handling, storing, and disposing of industry products in accordance with local regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven recent experience in both retail management and preferably some warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of fireworks products and industry standards is a HUGE plus!
• Thrives working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule to work hours in the day, evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during busy retail seasons.
• Familiarity with POS systems and office software (MS Office, inventory management tools, etc.).
• Performing duties of this job could require frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
• Willing and able to complete a background check and drug screen.
