Location: Akron, OH
Our organization is in search of a skilled Epilepsy Specialist to become part of our Neurosciences Institute in Akron, Ohio. This role presents a remarkable chance to enhance a comprehensive epilepsy program within a healthcare system that is dedicated to technological advancements, innovative practices, advanced diagnostics, and surgical interventions for epilepsy treatment . The position allows for the practice of intricate epilepsy care while contributing to the ongoing development and growth of the program.
The Neurosciences Institute is designed to offer patients a wide range of neurological services. The epilepsy program thrives on collaboration among neurology, neurocritical care, neurohospitalist, and stroke services, along with partnerships that extend into pediatric and surgical care.

Partner with our Complex Care Institute to assist patients with intricate neurological and medical needs as they transition to adult care.
Combination of clinic and inpatient/EMU settings.
Focus exclusively on epilepsy practice with a fully equipped neurophysiology lab.
Access to extensive in-house laboratory and radiology services.
Utilization of the Epic system for electronic medical records.
Opportunities for research, innovation, and medical education.
Academic appointment with Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) available for qualified candidates.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
Completion of an Epilepsy fellowship .
Preference for a seasoned epilepsy physician with a proven interest in complex epilepsy management and/or advanced epilepsy care.
Possession of a current unrestricted medical license in Ohio or the ability to obtain one.
Willingness to engage in teaching, lectures, and resident education.
Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, team-oriented care.
Interest in clinical innovation, technology, and the ongoing advancement of epilepsy treatment.
