Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Experience in oncology nursing - Ability to provide safe and competent nursing care Description: Accountable for interpreting the medical care plan. Responsible for assessing patients' clinical needs. Makes decisions regarding nursing care. Assures nursing care is provided in a safe manner. Provides individualized nursing care to patients. Evaluates nursing care for groups of patients. Maintains accurate and detailed reports and records. Administers medications to patients. Monitors patients for reactions or side effects. Records patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members. Assists in assessing, planning, implementing, or evaluating patient care plans. Modifies patient treatment plans based on patients' responses and conditions. Position includes working every other weekend and holidays.
