Infant Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Providence, RI. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and a passion for fostering a safe, stimulating, and loving environment that supports the developmental needs of our youngest learners. Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead teacher for the infant classroom, providing attentive care and guidance to infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets all licensing and regulatory standards. Observe and document each infant’s progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency and quality in curriculum and care. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications Experience as an infant lead teacher or in a similar role working with infants. Knowledge of infant development and best practices in early childhood education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Ability to create a warm, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
