Project ManagerKraemer North America is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our National Railroad Group. This position will be based on a multi-year rail project in Brunswick, MO with the home office in Eau Claire, WI.The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for contract administration, planning, cost control, and overall project leadership and jobsite management to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with contract requirements, budget, and schedule. The PM will also implement and execute the Five Point Planning Process while adhering to and promoting Kraemer's culture of QUALITY, SAFETY, EXCELLENCE.ResponsibilitiesImplement and execute the Five Point Planning ProcessProvide leadership and carry out Kraemer's safety culture in day-to-day operations and TEAM meetingsAssure compliance with Kraemer Safety and Quality ProgramsCoordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and material suppliersEnsure Safety and TEAM goals are met and participate with crews in daily input, meetings, and follow-upServe as the primary point of contact for all project correspondence with owners, subcontractors, and suppliersReview and approve all project payables and payment requestsPrepare, review, approve and certify all project change proposals and/or claimsAssist with estimating projectsPerform Monthly CTC ReportsCoordinate the project needs between project superintendents, project & field engineers, and any other project support requirementsManage owner/client and subcontractor/supplier negotiationsManage project engineering and superintendent staffAct as Project EEO OfficerVerify invoices from vendorsProvide progress reportsMentor and develop project staffEnsure compliance with EEO/Affirmative Action contract requirementsResponsible for successful job close-outAssist in identifying market opportunities for assigned region by establishing and maintaining effective contact with owners, subs, suppliers and potential clientsActively pursue future work for KraemerQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent work experienceMinimum five (5) years' experience in heavy civil constructionRailroad and bridge experience strongly preferredExperience in budget managementExperience estimatingAbility to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of individualsHigh level of analytical abilityAbility to inspect form and false workComputer literacy requiredAbility to perform in high stress situations and demonstrate leadershipBenefitsMedical & Dental InsurancePaid Parental Leave401(k) Savings Plan with company matchProfit SharingHealth Care Reimbursement PlanLife Insurance & Dependent Life InsuranceShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityHolidays/Vacation/Sick PayEducational AssistanceComputer Purchase ProgramCompany Vehicle/Fuel CardCompany Cell Phone/ComputerHiring Range: $125,000 - $160,000.
