Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services by operating X-ray and radiologic equipment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety standards.
• Operate X-ray, fluoroscopy, and other radiologic equipment to capture clear images.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and positioning them appropriately.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Assist in coordinating schedules and ensuring timely completion of imaging requests.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in Radiography or equivalent credential.
• Possess current state licensure or registration as required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating various X-ray and radiologic equipment.
• Maintain excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Have prior experience in a medical imaging environment preferred.
