Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting middle school students with high communication needs. This position offers full-time hours—37.5 per week—spanning from September 1 through October 13, 2026, with a single opening available. You’ll work in a collaborative, resource-rich environment near White Bear Township, MN, delivering specialized speech-language services to a diverse population, with all students utilizing AAC devices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Minnesota Department of Education SLP license required
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY clinicians
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices, or a strong willingness to learn
- Compassionate communicator dedicated to serving high-need student populations
- Effective in adapting and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver individually tailored speech-language interventions
- Support students in developing communication skills with AAC systems
- Collaborate with educators, aides, and families to optimize student progress
- Document student performance and maintain compliance with all state and district requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Provide consultative guidance for staff regarding AAC best practices
