Physician Family Practice-Without OB - Competitive Salary

Job Description

Location: Orosi. Certification: Licensed in the state of CA as a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine. License: CA license and DEA license.

Timeline: Available as soon as possible. Privileging can take 30-45 days. Three or four-months with a possibility to extend.

Schedule: full-time, five days per week (8-hour shifts) with one evening shift per week (12-9 pm, and one Saturday per month, or they can choose four days per 9-hour shifts) hourly pay. Caseload: average of 20 to 24 patients per 8 hours, 24-27 per 9 hours, scheduling guidelines to ensure providers don’t have back-to-back complex visits. We have a no-show or cancellation rate of 15-20%.

Services: primary care, including pediatric, adult, women’s care, and office-based procedures. All ages. Support: 2 MA’s back office & .5 MA front office.

Group Setting: Team-based approach to care, working with other MD’s & APP’s at the clinic. We also have dental, optometry, pharmacy, behavioral health services, chiropractor, podiatry, and other specialties in-house for our patients. Patient Population: Primarily Spanish-speaking, farm-working families.

EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW), locums do not get laptops or dictation devices, they can utilize templates and macros to help with efficiency. 30 minutes before their lunch, 30 minutes before their shift ends, catch-up block to help with admin or labs or patient care if behind on schedule. Must lock notes within 72 business hours.
