Surgery - General Physician

• Schedule: Call only
• Job Setting: 200 bed facility, Level 3 Trauma
• Types of Cases: General Surgery (Adult and Trauma required; Pediatric preferred); Laparoscopic Surgery including Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, and Nissen Fundoplication; Chest wall/pleural procedures; Chest tube insertion; Central line insertion; Vascular Surgery including vascular access devices (Aneurysm repairs, Arterial bypass, Peripheral, and AV shunt preferred); Liver surgery, GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy), PA Catheter placement, and Laser certification preferred
• Credentialing: 30 days

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible minimum; Board Certified required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Licensure: Active Alabama, will consider IMLC
