## Job DescriptionThe Teachers' Retirement System of Oklahoma (TRS) is undertaking a comprehensive, multi-year modernization initiative aimed at replacing aging legacy systems and transitioning to a unified, cloud-native environment. This effort centers on building **MyPAS 3.0**, a modern Azure-hosted pension administration system integrating seamlessly with the **MyTRS** member portal and the **MyERS** employer portal.### Key Details: - **Membership:** Over 210,000 employees and retirees from more than 600 school districts, tech centers, colleges, and universities. - **Current State:** Legacy systems are migrating to Azure, with significant modernization efforts stretching into 2025.### Expected Outcomes: - Improved performance, scalability, and maintainability of systems. - Retirement of aging systems and reduction of technical debt. - Enhanced workflow efficiency and user satisfaction. - Greater operational resilience and reduced infrastructure costs.### Requirements1. **Process Analysis and Documentation**- Engage with business units to understand workflows and identify improvement opportunities.- Interface with technical teams to gather and translate requirements.- Document processes using structured methodologies (e.g., process maps).- Facilitate discussions for defining future state processes.2. **Requirements Gathering and User Story Development**- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements.- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and validate requirements.3. **Testing and Quality Assurance**- Develop and execute test plans and scripts for user acceptance testing.- Document defects and support resolution efforts.4. **Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication**- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams.- Communicate project updates and support change management activities.
