Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Pediatric Nephrologist to become a part of our esteemed and expanding team.

The Division of Nephrology is recognized nationally by U.S. News & World Report and stands as the largest pediatric nephrology program in the Southwestern United States. Our diverse team comprises board-certified pediatric nephrologists and advanced practice providers who deliver thorough inpatient and outpatient services throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and across Arizona via a broad network of outreach clinics.

We provide care within one of the largest freestanding pediatric healthcare systems in the nation, which includes a flagship hospital with 484 beds, featuring 153 intensive care beds across the PICU, CVICU, and NICU. Our facility is home to Arizona's sole dedicated pediatric dialysis center, offering both inpatient and outpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and a comprehensive Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT) program. Additionally, we host Arizona's exclusive Pediatric Kidney Transplant Program, delivering multidisciplinary care for children facing complex kidney diseases.

Our physicians hold academic positions with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, and Creighton University School of Medicine, with opportunities to engage in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.

Our network includes a flagship quaternary care hospital in central Phoenix, the Phoenix Children's Hospital - Arrowhead Campus, a variety of specialty centers and outpatient clinics, freestanding emergency departments, and over 40 locations throughout Arizona.

Opened in 2024, the Phoenix Children's Hospital - Arrowhead Campus is a comprehensive children's hospital catering to the rapidly expanding West Valley, offering pediatric emergency, inpatient, surgical, imaging, and specialty services. Our strategic growth continues with the upcoming Phoenix Children's Hospital - East Valley, located on the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center campus. Position Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• MD or DO degree

• Board Certified in Pediatrics

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Nephrology

• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Arizona

• A dedication to providing outstanding patient-centered care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• An interest in teaching, quality improvement, clinical research, and program development is highly encouraged
