This unit provides antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care for maternity patients and normal newborns. Gynecology patients are excluded. Note that this department does not include labor and delivery.Centered in the heart of San Joaquin County, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial has been one of the area's leading healthcare providers since 1952. The allure of Lodi's close-knit community is complimented by its proximity to major metropolitan cities in the Bay Area and Sacramento, as well as a quick drive to Lake Tahoe or the Northern California coast.Position SummaryThe Labor & Delivery RN provides direct patient care to laboring and postpartum patients, ensuring safe, high-quality care for mothers and newborns. This role requires strong clinical skills, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and the ability to respond effectively in high-acuity situations.Required QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practiceBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education/experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) / CPR from approved vendor (BLS, HS-BLS, or RQI per AH policy)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environmentPreferred QualificationsAcute care or Labor & Delivery experienceAdvanced education or specialty certificationExperience with fetal monitoring and high-risk obstetricsEssential FunctionsProvide direct nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periodsMonitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergent situationsCollaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team membersEducate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum careAccurately document patient care and clinical outcomes

Registered Nurse, LD Experience: 2 years Licenses: RN-CA Certifications: BLS(Copy needed)

NRP(Copy needed)

PALS(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 2 References in the last 12 months Cerner experiene required LDRP Experience CA RN license (#, expiration) BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring LD SCL and Reference within a year RTO at the time of submission Must have SSN & DOB
