Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practice and aseptic technique
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative periods
• Coordinate and implement physician orders and surgical care plans
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond rapidly to changes in status
• Prepare, maintain, and account for instruments, supplies, and surgical equipment to ensure a safe environment
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort at every stage of the surgical process
• Document all aspects of perioperative care accurately and efficiently
• Foster collaboration with the entire surgical team to promote optimal patient outcomes
