Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Manage patient care and monitor progress throughout rehabilitation Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals Provide patient education on rehabilitation techniques and self-management strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care Stay current with advancements in physical medicine and rehabilitation Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Current medical license to practice in California Experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation preferred Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 12p-8p Daily Volume: 25-28 per day 424-bed hospital with a CARF-accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Program Will provide comprehensive rehabilitation care for patients with neurologic, orthopedic, and complex medical conditions Multidisciplinary Team: Physiatrists, hospitalists, PT, OT, SLP, nursing, social work, and case management Experience in spinal cord injury rehabilitation is highly preferred EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
