Registered Nurse – Family Birthing Center

Schedule: Nights 1800-0600

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 24
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the state
• Two years of experience required
• BLS & NRP certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor the patient's response during the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, including education on breastfeeding.
• Promote wellness for mothers during pregnancy and postpartum through continuous education.
• Educate mothers on infant care and document all interactions in the patient medical record.
• Communicate patient conditions to physicians and nursing supervisors.
• Collaborate in the care of mother-baby dyads and assist in procedures as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for all patients in the unit.
