RN - Medical Surgical Telemetry Nurse - Full Nights

Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit for full night shifts. This role involves planning and delivering professional nursing care in line with established policies, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their stay.

Responsibilities: As a nurse in this unit, you will assume charge nurse duties as assigned, demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication is essential to coordinate care and collaborate with the healthcare team. You will care for patients with diverse physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs typical of the regional population.

Work Environment: The position requires physical stamina including standing, walking, bending, and lifting. You may encounter exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.

Education and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
