Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: Nursing

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Experience: Minimum 2 years current experience

License: Must have valid West Virginia or compact license

Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have: Must float within scope of practice; every other weekend required; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated

Description:
Expanding unit with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6.

Experience with Meditech EMR is required.

Candidates must complete a background check.

All facilities work a schedule of 36/48 for the two-week pay period.

Ratios may fluctuate based on census and call-offs.

Orientation occurs bi-weekly.

Resource must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered.

Travelers are required to have a driver's license.

Eligible candidates must present RTO upfront; changes will not be accepted after submission.

Must work either a major or minor holiday.

References are required, including one from a charge nurse or a supervisor.

Candidates must have experience managing telemetry patients.

Skills required include accessing and managing ports, cardiac telemetry, managing central lines, and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Candidates should have experience with substance withdrawal, administering blood products, and managing chemotherapy.

Must be knowledgeable in isolation precautions and PPE.

Ability to manage patients with chronic illnesses and post-operative care is essential.
