Job Title: Neuro ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years current experience in a Neuro ICU setting License: State RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience in care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD) management, ICP monitoring, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Neuro ICU Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate must have experience in a Neuro ICU setting. Responsibilities include managing complex neuro patients post-surgery and those with traumatic brain injuries. The RN will be responsible for monitoring critical health conditions and providing effective patient care. The position requires the ability to float as needed within the facility. A patient ratio of 1:2-3 is expected during shifts. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of 2 weekends per month. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. The RN should be comfortable with advanced medical equipment and technology. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
