Home Service Inspector (Will Train)

Overview As an Orkin Home Sales Inspector, you will have the opportunity to combine your competitive drive with the satisfaction of helping homeowners protect their most valuable asset. Pest management is a recession‑resistant industry, and our training will cover everything from 360‑degree inspections to strategic recommendation and customer relationship building. Responsibilities Earn top wages, recognition, and opportunities for annual awards trips. Serve as a problem solver for customers, using in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solution. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, supported by a robust advertising budget. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and make recommendations based on the inspection. Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required (company will pay). Work Environment Safely use a ladder within manufacturer weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., climbing or balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as required. Wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA‑compliant respirator when necessary. Work in various weather conditions.
