The Back of House Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading team members to help provide fast and accurate service to guests, while maintaining food safety and quality standards. This role is offered as a full-time position. You must have an open availability. This means the ability to work mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Availability for Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays is required. We are looking for applicants who exhibit the following qualities: Honest and Trustworthy Consist and Reliable Mature and Responsible Cheerful and Positive Attitude Applicants must be able to: Successfully run shifts to ensure fast, accurate food is served to standard Report for shifts on time Operate with a sense of urgency Assist in training new hires, set the tone for the shift, and act as a role model for the team Exhibit mastery of all Back of House positions Run Breaks and ensure smooth operations Adapt to change and resolve problems without disrupting the business Adhere to and enforce all restaurant polices and procedures, up to holding team members accountable Independently write reports and other documents Adhere to and enforce food safety and quality standards Assist with ensuring low food and labor costs Ensure waste and shared table donations are recorded Assist with managing inventory Identify and address operational bottlenecks Perform other duties as needed Qualifications High School diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a major in business, hospitality, food science, or a related field preferred 1-3 years leadership or management experience Experience in restaurant operations is preferred, but not required. Prior Chick-fil-A experience is a plus. ServSafe certification preferred but not required Strong work ethic Excellent time management and organizational skills Possess a love for serving and helping others Strong interpersonal skills Critical Thinker. Self Starter Able to work independently and in a team environment Be able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to stand and walk for at least 8 hours Be able to perform functions which require bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 40 lbs. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record Reliable transportations to meet opening and closing shifts as needed Available to work at least 40 hours a week Be available to work on weekends and holidays Most Chick-fil-A® Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
