Biomedical Field Service Technician
Location: Austin, TX Start Date: Immediate Schedule: On-site, Monday – Friday (Field-Based) Travel: 100% Travel
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 base + overtime

Scientific Safety Alliance's Biomedical Division specializes in the repair, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections of medical equipment. We service territories across the entire United States.

About the Role
- Perform calibration and service on biomedical and specialty equipment
- Work in a high-autonomy, decentralized environment
- Manage your own schedule, customers, and workload
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field service, calibration, and repair
- Travel to customer sites daily
- Manage scheduling and service calls independently
- Maintain inventory and equipment in company vehicle
- Communicate with customers and internal team
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
Training
- 6–12 month ramp-up (more complex equipment)
- Includes shadowing and gradual independence
Qualifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly
- Valid driver's license
Preferred (Not Required)
- Technical training, trade school, or engineering background
- Experience with biomedical or calibration equipment

Travel Details
- Daily travel within ~2-hour radius (Austin and surrounding areas)
