Senior Associate Attorney – South Carolina (Greenville Preferred)

Established South Carolina law firm seeks an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated matters, work directly with clients, and take on significant responsibility in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience with a strong background in one or more of the following areas: commercial real estate, business transactions, construction law, commercial lending, corporate law, or complex civil litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage matters independently from inception through resolution
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements and legal documents
• Advise clients on strategic business and legal issues
• Lead client communications and maintain strong client relationships
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
• Collaborate with partners on significant transactions and litigation matters
• Participate in business development and community engagement activities

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active South Carolina law license
• 5–10 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and work independently
• Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills
• Portable business is welcomed but not required

Location:

Candidates may be based anywhere in South Carolina and work remotely; however, Greenville-based attorneys or those willing to spend regular time in the Greenville office are preferred.
