Sr Associate, Specialist, L2 Application Support Engineer, Project Management, Technology and Operations

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

We are seeking an experienced L2 Support Engineer to provide application and infrastructure support for project-related initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise across application deployment, environment setup, middleware, databases, infrastructure, and monitoring tools, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex enterprise environments.

• Provide Level 2 (L2) application support for project and production-related activities.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot UAT (User Acceptance Testing) environments.
• Support and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth application deployments.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications across different environments.
• Investigate and resolve application, infrastructure, and database-related issues.
• Monitor application performance and system health using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution and project delivery.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide recommendations for service improvements.
• Ensure adherence to operational and support processes, including incident and change management.

• Strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Hands-on experience with Bitbucket and version control practices.
• Experience in application installation, configuration, and environment setup. Database
• Good knowledge of SQL and Oracle Database.
• Experience in writing queries, troubleshooting database issues, and supporting application data requirements. Infrastructure
• Good understanding of infrastructure components, server management, and application hosting environments.
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows operating systems. Monitoring & Observability
• Hands-on experience with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such ELK Stack as (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, AppDynamics

• Experience supporting Java-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with JBoss Application Server administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise application environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced support and project delivery environment.

• 8++ years of relevant experience in Application Support, Middleware Support,
• Infrastructure Support, or DevOps-related roles.
