Relationship Banker Overview As a Relationship Banker in Jackson, NJ, you will serve as a trusted advisor, building strong, long‑lasting relationships with customers while delivering tailored banking, lending, and investment solutions. Responsibilities Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering personalized, seamless service across all interactions. Identify opportunities for cross‑selling banking products and services to existing and prospective customers. Proactively prospect for new clients through networking, referrals, lead calling, portfolio management, and community engagement. Conduct transactional, servicing, and product activities to meet customers’ financial needs. Address customer concerns and provide timely resolutions, fostering loyalty. Engage customers through digital platforms, educating them on self‑service options. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk and fraud defense. Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve branch goals and drive overall performance. Support nearby branch locations as needed based on business necessity. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 12+ months experience in retail banking sales, financial services sales, or consultative relationship sales, with proven success in establishing new customers and deepening relationships. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver results. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others. Strong communication, consultative, and influence skills (verbal and written). Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment. Basic computer proficiency and basic math skills. Ability to work flexible branch hours, including weekends and evenings. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience selling products and/or services in an incentive‑based environment. Strong relationship‑building skills with a focus on customer experience and loyalty. Experience with digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Spanish language skills. Completed certifications related to banking or sales (if any).
