Manufacturing Engineer

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This permanent role offers the opportunity to develop and implement manufacturing processes that maintain product functionality, reduce cost, and improve overall production efficiency. Job Details Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year. Responsibilities Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and equipment for optimal efficiency and output. Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production processes and reduce waste. Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety regulations. Conduct continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production quality, reduce downtime, and minimize manufacturing costs. Implement metal fabrication processes and techniques to meet production requirements. Collaborate with the design team to understand product specifications and develop manufacturing plans accordingly. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment. Train staff on new and existing manufacturing processes and equipment. Evaluate and improve workflows and assembly methods. Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders and management. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control techniques. Familiarity with automation and automation implementation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools. Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
