The host directs guests through the breakfast bar as needed. Cleans and maintains Breakfast station and restocks items as necessary. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.The job is simple:Focus on ways to promote and engage in internal growth programs.Continuously exemplify and live by our Culture.Meet/exceed our company goals and three metrics.Complete all required brand specific trainingComplete all required Vision University trainingComplete all required health and safety trainingAdhere to all Vision Hospitality Group and property specific brand standardsPerform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guestsProvide personalized, friendly service to each and every guestKeep an ongoing inventory of all food items and supplies neededPrepare food items for service at breakfast according to occupancyMaintain a consistent and complete stock of food and beverage items during breakfast hoursSet up service area each day in accordance with Brand standardsClear and clean tables as they are vacated during breakfast hoursReact immediately and appropriately to all spills and accidents in breakfast areaWash all serving equipment and store appropriately each dayProperly store all reusable food items each dayKeep the pantry and breakfast storage area clean, safe and sanitaryWipe down tables/chairs, dust fixtures/windowsills/baseboards, empty trash and mop/vacuumThoroughly clean and maintain areas each day or as needed as pertains to breakfast serviceBe aware of current events occurring in area and attractions in which guests can partakeHave complete knowledge of all hotel policies, services, and amenitiesNecessary Skills:Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, associate issues, etc.Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow associates, and hotel assetsHave knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation procedures.Have dependable transportation availableAble to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in personAble to work a flexible schedule.
