Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a Radiation Oncology setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education while adhering to clinical protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Assist in patient assessments, education, and support throughout treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient observations and treatment details accurately.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment according to facility standards.
• Comply with all safety and regulatory requirements, including certifying in BLS certification.

Qualifications:

• Hold and maintain an active RN license in the state.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology nursing.
• Be certified in AHA BLS.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours within a 7am-5pm schedule, including holidays.
• Exhibit adaptability in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
