About the Position

Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Psychiatric Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, CPI Must-Have: 1 year of acute care experience Description: Manager will conduct interviews. Nurse to patient ratios may be up to 1:9. Patient population includes individuals with schizophrenia, major depression, and bipolar disorder. Weekend work is required every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement. Scrubs must be navy. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner. BSN is not required for this position. This is an acute care setting.
