Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Springdale, Arkansas location to perform blood collections, specimen processing, and patient interactions. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturday hours, and offers opportunities for growth within a high-volume laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostics
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Deliver exceptional customer service and perform clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Preferred: 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital setting
- Preferred: 1+ years experience with pediatric to geriatric patient groups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and variable schedules as needed
